| Comission Yamaha mechanic, 1974 to 1980. Keep in mind, ALL Yamaha 250 Enduro 2-piece clutch release mechanisms are the same from 1968 to 1973. Also, 1969 to 1973 Yam 360 Enduros are all the same. You can find one tomorrow. Most M/C salvage yards may want to sell you the sprocket cover with the cluth release as a complete assembly. MORE IMPORTANT! 80% of all salvage yards are hooked up to all the other M/C salvage yards and they can ask for it on the "hotline". Easy. when you get it clean it to perfection, grease it like crazy and experiment with the "starting point" to get the release arm in correct place. Even optimaly, it will probably be necessary to put a lock washer over the clutch cable end, fitting it over the small piece that plugs into case. The washer takes up slack that develops in the whole system over time and creates a almost new-like condition for excellent clutch release/engage performance. Good Luck. |
