If you install a lithium battery (Shorai, e.g.), it will crank 14 amps, way more than the stock battery. Another perk is it will weigh almost nothing. The Shorai battery is tiny and will fit most motorcycles; you build it up to fill the battery box with supplied foam pads. Makes the electric starter on my RD200 spin like a little top, it always needed help from the kicker before.
