I bought one back in May from a friend of my room mate. I rode dirt bikes as a kid, so I didn´t really have a lot of experince on bike for about 15 years, and no experience on a bike like this. After riding it for the past few months, 5 to be exact, I can honestly say that I love it. The bike I bought was rarely riden, only 5800 miles on it when I got it, and it is still in near mint condition. Never dropped, never raced and only 3 scratches on it. It is a very easy bike to learn on. As other people have posted here, it is very quick. But, after 8 years, it still runs great. I would definately recommend getting it while you have the chance. You will not regret it. As for the milage, it is 8 years old. 31000 miles isn´t a lot over an 8 year time period. The reason I chose Honda was because I have never really heard anything bad about the way they are built. But, that´s just what I´ve heard. So far, other than changing the oil, all I´ve had to do maintenance wise is change the battery, which I did this morning in about 30 minutes. Hope this helps you and good luck on getting your bike.
