To anyone who can help- I have a 72´ titled sportster with what I belive to be a 76´ ironhead motor. I say this because I rebuilt the motor with a 76´ rebuild kit. Motor run awesome but I am having trouble with the tranny. First it´s a right side shift and have found very little on it. I have yet to work on one so I am a little nervious about opening it up. It´s shifter does not like to ertun to the upright possision and has trouble getting into gear.I have adjusted the clutch cable out so far it has snoped the barrel holding it to the clutch lever. Any suggestions on what my problem is besides the obvious and where to find parts would be a huge help. Please help getting me back in the saddle. Thanks
