Hi.
I acquired a 72 FLH last month and have been going thru it. Mostly brakes and lots of clean-up and polishing. Engine & tranny were gone thru about a year ago. Seems to be a pretty solid old bike. Windshield, Bags, after-market seat (too bad), drag pipes (too bad, again). New paint job coming this Winter.
Glad to find a FLH owners discussion board - hope it proves helpful!
