CHECK THIS OUT!

1. In 1972, I BOUGHT A NEW CB 750 AFTER MY BROTHER CONVINCED ME THAT A 500 MACH THREE OR A SUZUKI 750 WOULD NOT BE A RELIABLE RIDE FOR MY PENDING DISTANCE FROM COLTON CA. TO FORT HOOD TEXAS.

2. I COVERED THIS DISTANCE 4 TIMES AND THE HONDA CAME THROUGH EVERY TIME EXCEPT ON THE FIRST TRIP. FOR SOME STRANGE REASON (STRANDED IN NEW MEXICO) THE HONDA WAS NOT GETTING ANY SPARK AT THE POINTS. ALL THE FIDLING IN THE WORLD (BY ME) FAILED TO START MY CB.

3. IF IT WASN´T FOR A TRUCKER WHO WAS NICE ENOUGH TO TRANSPORT ME AND MY BIKE TO FT HOOD/KILLEN TEXAS, I WOULD OF BEEN IN TROUBLE.

4. ONCE THERE A HONDA MECHANIC FINALLY GOT SPARK TO THE POINTS AND I NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM AGAIN.

5. AFTER 4 YEARS OF RELIABLE USE I CONVERTED MY HONDA TO A SOFT TAIL CHOPPER, FOLLOWED BY A PURCHASE OF A HONDA CBX.

6. GREAT MEMORIES ON THAT HONDA BUT THE KAWASAKI MACH 111 THAT I HAD IN HIGH SCHOOL IS THE BIG MEMORY MAKER FOR ME!

7. THAT KAWI COULD BLOW THE DOORS OFF OF ANYTHING INCLUDING THE CB 750 (QUARTER MILE THAT IS).
