The F11 pictured is a 1974; the first F11s were released in 1973, they came in either yellow or red, with yellow being the most popular color. I purchased a yellow F11 in March of ´73, I would like to buy one now. I would perfer a yellow ´73 F11, but could convert a ´74 or ´75 into what I want. In 1972, the 250 was an F8 rotary valve, it was the same bike as the F9 Big Horn, it was orange and had a smaller jug. The ´73 F11 was the first piston-port enduro/motorcrosser produced by Kawasaki. In the Fall of ´73 I jumped cars with my F11 at a local race track, I was sixteen and an idiot, I did not remove the head light or signal lights. Needless to say, one good crash was all it took for me to be F11-less.
