Failed elec starter question

My wife has had a 49cc TGB Laser for a year now and likes it a lot. It has one problem in that the starter has failed. It kick-starts easily but gets nothing with the elec starter. The battery and fuse are both good. Can a guy get a new starter for a unit like this?
