Your 350 was likely a ´73 as the earlier model was red and I believe the ´74 model was the first 400. In the US and Canada the ´73 350s were blue and the s1 250s were gold. The ´73 also had the disc brake fitted where the earlier model had a drum. Quarter mile times if I remember correctly were in the low 14´s at about 90 mph which was close to but probably slightly less than an RD350 Yamaha could do. Personally I always thought the Kawa was the nicest of the 350s of the era. I lusted after a red ´72 for years after it debuted and although I´ve been through many fine machines since then I would be very proud to own one today.
