Came back from nam in june 1972, assigned to Ft. Bragg, bought a 72´ H2, on assignment in s. america march 73´ I lost my leg a/k and numerous wounds, went home to El Paso, rehab´d for awhile got divorced, sold bike to a friend for 300.00 so my wife would not get it (money), stayed in touch for a few years, lost touch, got in touch with him 2 years ago, (he´s in Oklahoma). waiting for my sons truck to go pick it up, he´s selling it back to me for 100.00, it runs, in good shape, except seat, has been garaged since and taken care of, 6,000 miles, he bought a engine with tuned exhaust and the works years ago, was going to race it, but never did. So every since 1983 its been in his garage waiting for me , he said! He knew I was out there and that we would meet again, and knew I might want it back, so...............setting up arrangements to get it as we speak. Somtime I can´t believe it, 30 years later and getting a bike that I owned originally new , wonder what the odds of this happening? Don´t know if I want to keep it, my Son is in the Marine Corps and his wife doesn´t want him to have it and I don´t want him to get hurt on it either, which this thing still can do in a heart beat, it got my respect real quick back in 1972. H-2, 2 engines, tuned exhaust, race carbs and elec timing, even my original painted by Duckatt full face Helment, paint job on helment cost 100.00 in 1972. Any Offers?
