I bought a new left over 1972 H2 750 Kawasaki in 1973. Price $1295.00. This bike was fast as hell.My best friend had the ´73 500,also fast as hell. The main difference was that the 500 woulld bog untill 4000 rpm´s and then was just as fast. The 750 didn´t bog and the power band started at 1500 rpm´s. My bike would go into a high speed wobble at times, for no apparent reason. All these bikes were prone to this and the dealer changed the tire on the front of the bike to a tread design with a straight design, instead of the factory original tread. Also the front end had brackets for a steering damper that could be installed, but none came from the factory. a super fast accelerator, but a scary bike to ride. |
