I owned one and drove it all year as my only transportation in 1973. I still compare that bike to the bikes of today. I had one street race with a new 900. I let him hit it first, as experience showed all year that if I throttled first, nothing I raced, and I mean nothing, could catch me. He got a 15 yard jump, and I kept that distance, but couldnĀ“t pass. An absolutely awesome holeshot bike. Yeah, handling probably could be better, but KNOWING you were the fastest on the street, ahhhh, now that was something!
