I owned one and drove it all year as my only transportation in 1973. I still compare that bike to the bikes of today. I had one street race with a new 900. I let him hit it first, as experience showed all year that if I throttled first, nothing I raced, and I mean nothing, could catch me. He got a 15 yard jump, and I kept that distance, but couldn´t pass. An absolutely awesome holeshot bike. Yeah, handling probably could be better, but KNOWING you were the fastest on the street, ahhhh, now that was something!
