Please help. After installing a reconditioned head (new guides, valves, seals, etc.) a set of new pistons and Total Seal rings (double rings in the second groove) was installed. Unfortunately, excessive oil is being pulled through the intake valves and fouling the plugs in a very short time. The valve guide seals have been repeatedly checked with vacuum to detect any leakage, but to no avail. After about 150 miles, the pistons are still shiny new, with oil standing in the valve depressions. Has anyone experienced this problem, possibly due to the exceptional sealing of these rings. We´re out of ideas and can´t figure this one out. Also, the bike has the 2 to 1 Mikuni conversion, if that were to be a factor. Appreciate any help that can be offered.
