I owned a 750 Interstate from new. I bought it in August 1972 for £748. I had seen a write up in Motorcycle Mechanics where it was tested against the ´new´ V12 Jaguar sports car and decided I wanted one - well I was 18!! I´d love to have another even with it´s slipping clutch (despite clutch plates with an eccentric groove). The sound was amazing whether on tick over or at full bore, far better than the Lambretta´s and Jap bikes my mates had. I often wonder what happened to it: OYH 30L
