Own a near 100% low mileage (( 10K mi) original...good enough for restorers to check out factory condition down to proper nuts and bolts. Best thing about this bike is the way it handles and sounds! Kicks thru and starts easy...as long as usual starting procedure is followed. Better run good gas in it though...high compression engine likes CAM2 mix or you´ll get some knocking. Beautiful lines, fit/finish and polished metal for that special ´living room´ bike display. Great machine for running secondary roads (like in New England) at leisurely pace....seems to like to be driven between 45 and 65 MPH. AT least mine does.... Very comfortable riding position (US bars), although bike is physically on smallish side. Nice feel. Definitely NOT an interstate tourer though...:-) |
