I have had mine for over 23 years, bought from an original onwer w/ less than 600 miles on the clock, it´s has been totaled out by tire failure (Firestone) that locked the rear tire in the fork @ over 70 mph, wiped out all the fiberglass, twisted the front & rear forks, been rebuilt twice since then, I have a love-hate relationship w/ it that frustrates me to no end because of the sh_tty connector for the alternator to regulator thru the case. (It burns the rubber into carbon, shorts the charging system to the case & eats the alternator coils) The History of the bike goes back to the cop specials this model was built to supply. I have had offers to buy but just can´t bring myself to part w/ it. The specs on the entry page says it has belt drive but mine came w/ a chain, it´s got 37k + miles on it now the last tire change was done 1 + 1/2 years ago the chain is still in great shape, specs also state it has dual disk front brakes, mine only has 1? I just had it retuned for last season, can´t get enough miles on it to keep it fit for the road.
