yes you can raise the chassis by installing over stock shocks on the rear and front. this will not help much for the fit of your body to the frame it will mostly raise the bike from the road. as for fitting you to the bike better you could try moving the controls to the foward position. there are foward controls out there that accept floorboards. as for my self i am short legged and am in the process of lowering my 85. but i also like the lowrider style and am doing a lot of mods to this bike. hope this helps bro. keep rolling.
