Dude, it´s a fairing, not a shroud. All that ´crap´ is part of what makes it an FXR´T´ [touring]. If it doesn´t appeal to you PLEASE buy something else, an FXR or FXRS [sport, no fairing no bags] or Honda, etc. FXRT is a fantastic sport touring bike, and I´d hate to see another one cannibalized because someone bought the wrong motorcycle.
