1. The scooter always starts when I turn on the ignition from cold, I hear the fuel pump priming beforehand.

2. If I ride or leave the bike idling until it is running at full running temp I notice the orange engine check light comes on along with the red fuel temperature light.

3. If I turn off the engine and turn it back on the above lights remain on, the fuel pump does not prime and the engine turns over as if it has run out of fuel.

4. If I try again when the bike has cooled down the priming kicks in and it starts.

I welcome any ideas as to what I need to check, thanks
