reccomend staying chain, why spend money and time on the transfer to belt. You will need to know if you have early 84(3stud clutch)
or late 84(4stud clutch) They are not all interchangeable, so going to belt with stock parts, you would need to be sure before you buy parts, mine is a E84, Kehien CV carb,Se module, K&N air clean.
This bike is great, an I still have upgrades that make sense
to do yet. Good luck
