I have had my Zongshen 250 for about a month now and done 12 hours use on it. I have fitted a 428 DID oring chain to the bike and feel this was a necessary item as the original chain had stretched quit dramatically after around 6 hours use. Overall I am very impressed with the bike and would recommend to anyone who just wants a cheep dirt bike. The performance of the bike is okay for the money and the motor and frame seems to be strong and well designed. In New Zealand the only other option you have in the same price range is something secondhand that would need more money spent on it to make it reliable and safe. Therefore I think theses new Chinese bikes are excellent value for money. Also I have discovered you can now purchase a full range of aftermarket performance parts for the Zongshen 250 from mild to full race specs stage III enhancement. Ranging from cams, cylinder heads, rectifiers or high performance CDI which will increase the RPM limit, alternatively you can opt for the complete full house stage III race motors, You can also fit bigger wheels and tiers relatively cheaply along with a 520 chain and sprocket kit if you wont to go all out!. This is the best cheep dirt bike I have ever owned. Very happy. |
