Bought one brand new in 1972. Kickstart broke in the first month as it was a pig to start. Used it for 150 miles a day round trips between Wolverhampton & Sheffield, exhaust fell off 7 times one night coming back to Wolverhampton. Rubber muffler in exhaust perished and could not get a replacement so bike waas embrassing to ride due to the noise. Electrics where hopeless, especially in wet weather. Front forks where like rubber and could be adjusted by gripping the forks between you knees and twisting the handle bars. Ride was very good for its size and the exhuast kept one warm in winter. Luggage rack was small but carried my bag of clothing and tools. Engine was a strong puller and maintained 60 mph no bother, canĀ“t remember fuel consumption figures. Brakes where drums and proved adquate. Moved onto a Honda CB175K6 after the night of the falling exhaust pipe.
