A friend and I just bought a 71 honda cb 350. I just need a few questions answered if anyone can help. First there is a starter button, but doesn´t seem to be hooked up. Where is the electric starter on the bike? Are there terminals that I could jump on the actual starter to see if it will turn over and check to see if maybe the wires just aren´t connected, or the solenoid is bad, or if the whole starter is shot? Second, the seat needs replaced and I can´t believe there aren´t a million stock seats lying around, but I´m having trouble finding one. Are there are any other seats, (specifically the pan) that will fit between models and years? And last, my friend and I are both short and need a little less height to the bike. This is the main reason I want to get a different seat, so we can repad it and make it thinner, but are the rear shocks adjustable to lower a bit? Are there any other shocks out there, maybe off a different bike that are an inch or 2 short that we could swap? I appreciate any help you guys can lend.
