I have owned my sl for 32 years,i built it in 1979 as a bracket drag racer,in pro et racing. Raced it till 1984,in that time it went from mid 13 sec 1/4 mile times to high 11/s at 121 mph, with the help of 435 big bore kit,and nitrous kit. Stopped racing and bike sat under a tree till 1995,toke till 1996 to finish building into street bike. Used old big bore kit on 73 cb bottom end,and have been riding every since. Has lots of frame mods, engine mods, ect, ect. I new here soon as i can i will send pix. And yes the engines are bullit proof,my shift points w/n2o on was 13500,never came unglued. open to questions on repairs or mods from all yall. |
