I am repairing my 1973 CB 175 after blowing a piston several years back. I had to drive the wrist pin out of the connecting rod with a gear puller to remove the damaged piston, leaving about 1/3 of the inner bearing surface scored. Would it be possible to ream and hone the inner bearing surface on the connecting rod or is it necessary to replace it?
