I received my cb175 from a older woman that i work with for free because it was her sons a long time ago and he rode it as a dirt bike so it was in kind of bad shape but it only had 4300 miles on it. when we picked it up it had been sitting for about 2 years so we put a new battery on it and new gas with some sea foam and it started up on the 2nd kick. we had to mess with the carbuerators because they were all gummed up. 2 years later i began to restore it. it needed both pipes because they were all rotted through. it needed new tires because there was a dirt bike tire on the back. it needed new fork seals because they were both leaking fluid all over the forks. it needed new chain and sprockets because they were all rusty and worn. one of the side panels was cracked so i had my dad take it to his friend who own a body shop and he repaired it. we got new grips and we removed some minor dents in the front chrome fender. we needed both the center stand and the kick stand so we went to a junkyard and were lucky enough to find them. i am almost finished and wish that i could show you a picture but it is a 1973 and it is gold. it is looking pretty fresh right now
