my bike sat in a garage for over 20 yrs and I had the same problem. I have found most of the parts I need on ebay. Some people have found theirs in junk yards. My mechanic said it cannot be welded or apoxied. I got lucky & found 2 NOS carbs to replace it with. Some people have bought a cheap bike & only used it for parts. Good Luck. Even after we fixed carbs & float bowls, mine leaked gas. So had to get new valve stem needles. Hope this helps & good luck!
