I am writing again to check in. I THOUGHT I was doing well with the reconstruction (like Frankinstien) lol, but I was wrong. Although I did do pretty well, with what the guy sold me, it turned out to be a true basket case.
that´s OK because the God´s have smiled on me for the first time in my life!!! Lol
I stored my bike at a cam head friend of mine and he ran it to a Lil Harley Davidson repair shop in Bedford, Pa called Heps. Please feel free to patronize his business. I get off on keeping the little guys in business. And this Dude is both an Angle, (with grease under his fingernails) and a Hero of mine.
He fell in love with the Ironhead as soon as he saw it. My friend sends him lots of business so he just threw it out there that he would go over the whole bike for very little money!! I was shocked! It´ll be like Christmas!
Wires, bolts, cables, fluids. Don´t know what I did to deserve this but I ain´t complaining!! Hell, it mite even make me a better person! Lol
