I also had a H1, Hard to remember, But I was in Marines at LTA base on RedHill Blvd. in Tustin. Bought new "Green Machine" at shop called Dracos. This was 1973. It was a screemer. Remember many rides to Silverado Canyon, through Lion Country Safari to Laguna. Under power in power band it sung like formula 1 racer. Rode it back to Indiana in 73 and remember (before 55 mph speed limit) I was traveling through Missouri on I-70 and business man passed me in Buick Electra 225, I was doing 100 mph, I dropped down 2 gears and cranked ole green and caught up with him Spedo registered 125. I stayed with this man in a hurry for a few miles, then decided to let em go. Bike did OK cross country. But was bad on gas mileage. Would like to find another some day anf restore it. Those triples were one unique machine.
