Hello Andrew my name is stephen retzke i currently live in NH. Odly enough i just put my 70 Tbolt to sleep until i can get around to doing a resteration and extensive engine modifications. So i´m just ridind my bitsa for right now 4 bikes in one. To answer you´re ? run straight 50 whieght MOTORCYCLE oil like torco or something the reason is, that motorcycle oil has a different molecular structure than auto oil it´s formulated to withstand higher temps and shear stress that is encountered in the engine and gear box. As far as the fuel goes if you have a NAPA or AUTO ZONE near by get a can of Sea Foam trust me this is the best product out thier bar none. It is the only product that would clean out the the pilot cicuit on my 30+ year old amal 932. Oh one more thing when you get parts try MITCH KLEMPF´S in MINN. If you need anything else or just want to talk beeza stuff give me a hollar.
