This is what a motorcycle should be, a raw iron. It smells and sounds like a motorcycle should. With more than 30 years since production reliablity and comfort is not top notch but it handles very well and out-performance many new bikes!! The Lightning was a sports motorcycle in it´s days and does not like cruising. It should be actively driven and likes you to use your right hand a lot. 1970 was the last year of the real BSA. 1971 and on of Lightnings and Thunderbolt shared the new OIF trellis with the Triumph T120s. |
