I owned one of these with the factory fairing in the early seventies. I remember locating the fairing, putting it on and taking it out for a ride. I put my head down behind the fairing, and listened to the engine go for high C and watched the speedo swing wildly over to the left end of the dial. Timed speed - 103mph. Not bad for a port induction 250. If a Harley is a chopper, a Bul metralla is a razor. The most precise handling motorcycle I ever rode. I finally sold it because I was going everywhere at illegal speeds. Great bike. |
