70 sporty clutch trouble

i got a 1970 900 xlch , i had a starter put on it, now my clutch drages threw stop signs when you pull in clutch it wont dissingage, when i had a starter put on it it got worse , there is new kevlar clutchs in it ,any tips on what would make this clutch drag so bad , or how to fix,also what parts or seals ? need replaced when i pull this clutch , also when i put clutch hub cover on do i use gasket sealer on both sides, also same question on primary cover
