Question: I had a Cycle World magazine in the early 70s (70-72, I think) with a full road test and specs of the 1200 Electra Glide, including PRICE. At the time it was the most expensive bike they had tested: $2,500.00, or so I recall. A while back, I mentioned this to a friend who is a chopper owner. He became indignant, saying "There´s never been a Harley sell for 25 hundred bucks!" I thought, hell, why not? In 1915 they went for a couple hundred.
Am I right about the 1200 Electra Glide price?
