I have an old Triumph t100c, the frame is a 1970 but I am not sure
what year the motor is. In my owners manual it says that serial
numbers on bikes produced before 1969 started with the letter H, and that after that they had two letters, the first signifying the month and the second being the year. But it states that 1969 is represented by a letter C, 1970 by a letter D, and so on. The prefix on my serial number is KB, the K supposedly means made in September but does anyone know what year the B stands for? Also does anyone know if they make any high performance parts for this engine, cams, ignition, carburetion? I am starting from scratch with this motor and could use some advice.

Thanks
