T100 Triumphs are pretty easy to heat up a bit. Many shops can fit larger valves. R-tappets are a easy way to increase valve duration and multi carbs and RCMs provide even more HP. If the ignition is in good shape, the stock will do fine. I would not recomend too much compression increase inasmuch as current fuels have no lead, a component which provided considerable anti-knock and cooling in those hemi-style combustion chambers. I would limit compression increases to less than 1 overall increase over stock. Forged pistons also inspire durability. A good balance job will smooth the engine at the higher RPMs you will likely run at. Ask your balancer to provide some input on balance factor to select the correct static and dynamic balance at the RPM you will most often run at. This engine style while dependable, is not capable of much more than 60HP while retaining dependability and durability.
