Alan , If the tubing is clear it will be from the battery, if its black and about 6mm across its will be from the bottom of the carb. P.S I´m guessing here as I haven´t taken ownership of my cg (yet) but the majority of japanese bikes usually have a minimum of two overflow/breather tubes hanging down ,and this is what they´re function is. If its around 15mm across it will be an engine breather, but modern emission regs state this should be fed into the air intake somewhere, so its unlikely you´ll have one of these if your bike is this new. hope this helps, sorry to hear about the mishap, had one of my first bikes backed into by a delivery lorry, smashed the left hand engine casing :( Ric |
