My Jap CG125E ´98 Honda grey import stopped so I pushed it home. Removed cylinder and find I need: replacement crank, piston, cyclinder, pushrods, gasket set & maybe new main bearings. Possibly, instead of replacing the bits, it´d be cheaper to install another engine that works. I suspect it all went pear shaped as the 7.4kW CG doesn´t like being ridden at 65mph on red line down motorways. Advice anyone? I´ve read that a XL125 engine will also fit - is this true?
