Ever had steering head bearings serviced or inspected? Road Metrics along time before my HD and everyone of them would do that had 10k + miles. Hope that helps. Still check ur tires. Also fairly inexpensive parts. Try to find an independent metric repair shop to do the job. Most of these shops owned by hungry young mehanics--look for labor rates any ware from $55 to no more than $70. A lot cheaper than HD shops. It´s. A basic repair on any brand bike. GL
