I am curious if someone may tell me if shocks for 1200 Sportsters are interchangeable with other 1200 Sportsters or any other Sportsters, all, any, or none? Please elaborate if there is something I can do. I bought this 2000 SPORTSTER 1200 S and it has a thicker seat and wider than stock and emulsion shocks and it sits too high. I need to have it about 3-4 inches lower. What can I do and for the least amount of money without losing all the comfort of the ride and the general specs of the bike? I am without transportation and need to do something quickly. Thank you.
