I have inherited a 1980 Harley Davidson FXB80 Sturgis. I understand that there were only about 1400 of these made. It has the Ser# *1H48135J0. I believe that with an automobile you can tell which number it was off the assembly line. Is there any way of telling with a motorcycle? I also have this bike for sale for $6900 (it is in very good running condition and in good exterior condition with very few road chips, which have been touched up and 22,045 miles. It does have an up graded carburator, up graded brakes and the fuel tanks have been changed to larger ones). I am only the 3rd owner of this bike. I can send pictures if anyone is interested.
