I am new to this group. I am looking to buy a 50cc scooter and looking for input on the pros´ and cons of different brands, 2 or 4 stroke and what to believe as to how fast they will actually go. I have been intrigued with the Keeway´s and my local dealer was saying it would go 40+ mph with a 2 stroke. Also he was saying that although the 2 stroke coud wear out sooner the rebuild kit was very inexpensive. I am just looking for basic transportation to and from work and around town... but it is important to me to at least keepup with the flow of traffic. That would mean about 40mph in some instances. I appreciate your thoughts as to the best make, brand, etc as I am new to all this. Much thanks bobm |
