I have a 98 TL 1000R and i have a bad missfire when bike gets to operating temperature. The front cylinder dies in and out. I have replaced the coolant temp sender behind the rear cylinder and still the same problem. I have good spark on both cylinders and great compression as the bike has only 5400 miles on it. I believe it to be a fuel related problem but i am unsure. My TPS switch is working correctly as i have ohmed that and is working fine. Just as i started have this problem with my bike just as murphys law has it my friend has the exact same problem with his 1000R not a week later. Both bikes do the EXACT same thing! This is not an uncommon problem for these bikes as i have heard from other people that this is a consistant thing for this machine. Does anyone know whats wrong with this bike! Im ready to buy and ECU for it next...HELP
