I dont know if thi will help you ,but last July I took a road trip on my marauder from Saginaw Michigan to Mesa Arizona and back.During the trip my same fuse had blown twice.Attempting to figure it out at a gas station in the middle of no-where,I had pulled the plastic frame cover off of the shifter side of the bike,it seems the cover itself was causing the wire to ground out against another wire.I replaced the cover but left it loose on the front side to give the wires room, and I finished the 5000 mile run without a trouble, honestly I forgot about this problem until I read your message ,hope it helps
