Hello, I recently purchased a 2004 Suzuki marauder 800cc. when i bought it, it hadnt run in 2 years. it had a full tank of gas and the fuel pump was broken. I ordered a new fuel pump, and when it came in, i put it on, and went to work cleaning up the carbs. after 2 days i finally heard her roar to life for the first time! however, she wont idle. with a little on the throttle, she idles just fine, but no throttle, dies near instantly. something which may be related is the fact that the choke wont pull all the way out anymore. With this in mind i took her for a careful spin around town. and noticed that she has no power after about 2 seconds on the throttle (varies between 1 and 3 seconds) and the sound of the mufflers change. and try as i might, i cant get her above 50 mph. even with a wide open throttle. after about 30 miles i ran out of the 2 gallons of gas i had put in, so she is also running really rich. any input and help would be great!
