my view on this bike |

rode this bike for 7+ hours and even though its 5 years old, its awesome. heavy trails in the Olympic mountains, (rainy season) we went through 60 foot puddles up to 3 feet deep, (yes, above the air intake) luckily i was able to lift the front up, and wheely through it, and just barely made it across, but all in all, this bike is extremely controllable (my 1st wheely btw). we rode till it was dark, and there was sloshy mudd, wet rocks, tree stumps, and trenches all over. the bike rode allday, and even though i stalled it,it started up every time. extremely reliable. i did buy new (larger) jets for the carb, (when i 1st bought it, it wouldn´t even start b/c the P.O. never drained the gas and left it for a year...(this clogs the jets...just buy large ones..(less than 5dollars). highly recomend this bike for beginners. i could´ve crashed, but the bike naturally wants to stand straight up, never deviates from my path (btw, always look where you WANT to go, and not at the rocks or pits...just look where you want to ride, and look ahead) have fun. |
