Can´t get past 50mph

Can´t get past 50mph

I have a 2007 bike I bought new. It has about 100 miles on it so far. When out on the open road I can´t seem to get the bike past 50 mph. Mechanically it seems fine. Will this improve after it´s broke in? Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.
