| Hi, ive got a 2017 fxse that I bought with 2000 miles on it.since the day I got it when I press the starter button, more often than not, it pauses, all the lights go dim and it turns over really slow before starting. Occasionally it turns over at a normal speed before starting. But there´s times it won´t even turn a complete turn and doesnt start. A lot of the times it does this when I get back from work and try it again it fires right up. Ive replaced the battery with the biggest CCA battery that would fit in the battery tray,ive replaced the starter motor/solenoid with an all balls high torque motor, ive replaced the earth cable and fitted an extra one to the starter motor, ive replaced the ACR´S, i also had to replace the clutch basket and ring gear due to the last one lossing some teeth when it still had the original starter motor fitted. The weird thing about it though is each time ive replaced a part the bike acts like its fixed it,I replaced the ACR´S during the last winter and when I put the bike on the road again it started great everytime for a few months but now its went back to pausing, turning slow,ive also had a few no starts mixed with it turning over like it should. Does anyone have any ideas what to try next? Any help would be great. Thanks.Fangy |
