I own a 2006 VStrom, have very few problems. Mainly tire wear, I run street tires and only 3 to 4 thousand miles on them. Used Dunlop, Avon, Conti and am now on Bridgestone. Only changes are a 45 tooth rear sproket and custom exhaust and Power Commander. I live in S.C. and ride the mountain roads.
