Thanks for the info. It does help. Although doing the math did challenge my backwoods, Wisconsin, edumacation.
My brother is vertically challenged, at 5 ft. 8 in., and he´s riden my bike with no problems-while moving. At a standstill, he can only reach the ground using his tippy toes. If you have any other, specific questions that you´d like me to ask him, let me know, he´ll be more than happy to go for another ride on my bike, and maybe I´ll even let him.
If anybody is interested, I filled up my gas tank today, and I figured that I got 40 miles to the gal. Does this seem to be what the average MPG is?
